The person at the desk seemed to not grasp the magnitude of this. The amount of water probably still trapped and now running  through God knows where is gonna be baaaaaaaaad

I had to kick a guy off a job site the other day for getting in my face and y elling at me about some tile installation. He refused to admit, with pictures, measurements and common sense, that he had corrections to make in many of the 258 units his company is tiling. The amount of shitty work that occurs in construction is mind boggling.

I had this happen when we were in Kelowna. We were the first people staying in the newly constructed wing of a hotel. I noticed that none of the fixtures had any caulking. The second night we noticed water leaking from the ceiling, so we called the front desk and they sent maintenance up to look, when the maintenanceguy goes to the room above ours, in which an Asian family is staying there and their son is taking a shower but they didn’t speak english so they didn’t understand that the son needed to stop his shower now. The kid ended up taking a hour long shower without using the shower curtain, because wherever this family was from they were used to wet baths.

I t was such a mess!

I had this happen in my apartment a while back. They “ fixed” it, and then a few months later the ceiling caved in and filled my bathtub with leaked water from above.

Thankfully the bathtub caught most of everything.
